on 02.09.2024 for the offences under Sections 178, 180, 181 and 182 of BNS in Crime
No.230 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.
2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner and the other accused were
found in illegal possession of counterfeit currencies.
3.Heard. Perused the materials available on record including the First
Information Report.
4.Considering the fact that the petitioner was arrested only on 02.09.2024 and
that the matter relates to counterfeit notes and the investigation is in the early stage,
for the present, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail.
5.As such, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
