The instant writ petition has been filed by a Village Administrative
Officer seeking a mandamus to direct the first respondent not to transfer him
from his current place of deployment.
                  2. A perusal of the typed set of papers reveals that the petitioner has
been transferred from Pudukottai to Coimbatore by way of proceedings dated
21.10.2024. If the petitioner is aggrieved over the said order of transfer, it is
for him to challenge the said order. Without challenging the said order, the
present writ petition has been filed seeking a mandamus as against the
respondents not to relieve him from the current place of deployment. Such a
             writ petition is not maintainable.
             2/4

                  3. With the above said observation, this writ petition stands dismissed
with a liberty to the petitioner to challenge the said order of transfer dated
21.10.2024, if he so advised. No costs. Consequently, connected
             miscellaneous petition is closed.
