                                    JUDGMENT
[Judgment of the Court was made by R.SUBRAMANIAN, J.]
Mr.H.Mohammed Imran, learned counsel takes notice for the
           respondent.
2.The request of the respondent for stepping up his pay on par with
his Junior Angulakshmi, was rejected by the authorities on the ground
that the respondent was initially appointed in a different Panchayat Union
School. The authorities have relied upon the Government letter in
           Na.Ka.No.16907/C1/2016, dated 11.08.2016.
3.The very same question arose before this Court in W.A.(MD)No.27
of 2020 and the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court by judgment dated
15.04.2021, while following the earlier judgment in W.A.(MD)No.2020 of
2019, held that the distinction sought to be drawn by the Department on
the ground that two Teachers were working in two different Panchayat
Union Schools is not sustainable. In view of the same, we do not think that
the appellants are right in rejecting the request of the respondent for
stepping up his pay on the very same ground.

4.The Writ Appeal fails and it is accordingly dismissed. No Costs.
Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
