                                      ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified
Mandamus to quash the impugned memorandum in Mu.Mu.No.
6797/2023/P3, dated 23.10.2024, passed by the second respondent and
for consequential direction to the second respondent to modify the entries
in respect of the patta in S.No.68/12, to an extent of 1930 ½ sq. feet/.
S.No.17/4, of an extent of 8 ¾ cents, and S.No.67/11, of an extent of 7 ½
cent situate at Anaiyur Bit-II Village, Madurai North Taluk, Madurai
District in the name of the petitioner.
                  2. With consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for
final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
                  3. Indisputably, the petitioner has filed an appeal before the first
respondent on 16.11.2024, as against the order of the second respondent
and the same is pending till date. As the first respondent did not
prosecute the appeal of the petitioner, the petitioner approached this
             Court.
             2/5
  https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

                                                      W.P.(MD)No.28616 of 2024
                  4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it would
suffice if a direction is issued to the first respondent to dispose of the
petitioner's appeal within a time fixed by this Court.
                  5. As the petitioner has filed appeal on 16.11.2024 and the appeal
has been pending before the first respondent, this Court is inclined to
issue a direction. Accordingly, the first respondent is directed to dispose
of the appeal as per the time line given in the Circular dated 17.07.2024
of the Commissioner, Land Administration, Chennai.
                  6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No
             costs.
