O R D E R
The petitioner has approached this Court seeking a direction to the
respondent police to grant permission and provide police protection to
conduct the dramas namely Valli Thirumanam Nadagam on 31.05.2024,
Madurai Pandisamy Nadagam on 01.06.2024 and Arichandran Mayana
Kandam Nadagam on 02.06.2024 on the eve of Vaikasi Festival in
Muthalikulam Arulmighu Sri Kamba Kamatchi Karuppa Swamy Temple,
situated at Nadumuthalaikulam Village, Usilampatti Taluk, Madurai District.
2.Heard the learned counsel on either side.
3.In view of the election notification, the petitioner has to approach the
Assistant Returning Officer, Madurai. The Assistant Returning Officer shall
consider the case of the petitioner depending upon the law and order of that
area.
