Applicant is in judicial custody in Case Crime
No.0101 of 2023, under Sections 8/22/60 of the Narcotic
Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, Police
Station- Piran Kaliyar, District- Haridwar. He has sought his
release on bail.
2. Heard learned counsel for the parties and
perused the record.
3. This is the second bail application. The first bail
application, being BA1 No.1044 of 2023, was rejected on
27.08.2023.
4. It is argued by learned counsel for the applicant
that co-accused Amit Chandel, having similar role, who is
facing joint trial with the applicant, has been enlarged on
bail. It is a case of parity.

5. Learned State Counsel admits this fact.
3. Having considered, this Court is of the view that
it is a case fit for bail and the applicant deserves to be
enlarged on bail.
4. The bail application is allowed.
5. Let the applicant be released on bail, on his
executing a personal bond and furnishing two reliable
sureties, each in the like amount, to the satisfaction of the
court concerned.
