Heard Mr. Samar Das, learned counsel appearing for the
petitioner. Also heard Mr. Kohinoor N. Bhattacharya, learned GA appearing for
the respondents-State.
[2] This present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the
Constitution of India seeking the following reliefs:-
“a. Admit this petition.
b. Call for the records from the custody of the respondents.
c. Issue Notice upon the Respondents.
AND
And after hearing the parties be pleased to direct the state respondents for
providing all retirement financial benefit w.e.f. 01/09/2021 along with interest
to the petitioner as he was an employee as a Special Officer (Survey) (Group-
B) post for the period of 24 years & 7 months under the control of the
.
respondents ”
[3] Heard and perused the evidence on record.
[4] After perusal of the record, it is seen that the petitioner herein
submitted a letter on 06.01.2024 addressed to the Dy. Director of
Horticulture, O/o the Dy. Director of Horticulture (North), Kumarghat,
Unakoti Tripura ventilating his grievances but till date the same is pending.

[5] In view of such circumstances, without expressing any opinion
on the merits of this case, this writ petition is disposed of, directing the
respondent(s) to consider the case of the petitioner in light of the letter
dated 06.01.2024 preferably within a period of 03(three) months from the
date of receipt of the copy of this order in accordance with law. It is needless
to observe that the petitioner is at liberty to file any specific claim statement
before the respondent(s) in the meanwhile. Since, the relief sought pertains
to the amounts to be disbursed by the Accountant General through the State
and in the instant case the Accountant General has not been made a party,
this Court suo-moto impleads Accountant General as respondent No.5.
[6] The address of the Respondent No.5 to be impleaded as
submitted by Mr. Samar Das, learned counsel for the petitioner today before
this Court, which reads as under:
“O/o the Accountant General (A &E)
79 Tilla, Agartala, P.O-79 Tilla
Agartala,West Tripura.”
[7] Registry is directed to do the needful for impleading Accountant
General as Respondent No.5 to this petition and also to send a copy of this
order to respondent No.5 i.e. Accountant General to the above-quoted
address.
With the above observation and direction, this present writ
petition stands disposed of. As a sequel, miscellaneous application(s),
pending if any, shall stand closed.
