              1.       Dr. N. Mozika, learned DSGI assisted by Ms. S.             
              Rumthao, learned counsel for the respondents on instructions has    
              produced an office noting of the respondents, with regard to the case
              of the writ petitioner.                                             
              2.      A perusal thereof, it appears that the writ petitioner has  
              been included in the list, and will be issued offer of appointment to
              the post of Nursing Officer in the Institute. However, it is indicated
              therein that due to the enforcement of the Model Code of Conduct in 
              view of the announcement of the General Elections, the appointment

              to the waitlisted candidates will be issued by the Institute only after
              the election process is over, tentatively from 05.06.2024.          
              3.       In view of this development, Mr. K.P. Bhattacharjeee,      
              the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that as the grievance of
              the writ petitioner has been redressed, the writ petition may be    
              closed.                                                             
              4.       Accordingly, this writ petition stands closed and is       
              disposed of.                                                        
              5.       The communication as provided by the learned DGSI is       
              taken on board and made part of the record.
