              ORAL:-                                                              
                   Heard Mr. S. Wahlang, learned counsel appearing for the        
              applicant.                                                          
                   This is an application under Section 5 of the Limition Act, 1963
              seeking condonation of delay of 72 days in preferring the appeal    
              against the Judgment and Order dated 15-12-2023 and the order of    
              sentence passed therein by the learned Special Judge POCSO, South   
              West Khasi Hills District, Mawkyrwat in POCSO Case No. 3 of 2021.   
                   Mr. K. P. Bhattacharjee, learned GA appearing for the State-   
              respondent has no objection to the prayer for condonation of delay. 
                   The reasons stated in the application, particularly at Para 7 is
                                                                –                 
              found to be satisfactory and acceptable.                            
                   Accordingly, the delay of 72 days in preferring the connected  
              appeal is condoned.                                                 
                   Registry to diarize the appeal and list the matter for admission.
                   Petition stands allowed and disposed of.
