                      Mr. P. Tomcha, learned counsel, appears on behalf of the petitioner
             and Mr. RK Umakanta, learned senior counsel assisted by Mr. W. Niranjit, learned
             Deputy GA, appears on behalf of the State of Manipur.                
                      After some arguments of Mr. P. Tomcha, learned counsel, appearing
             on behalf of the petitioner, he seeks leave to withdraw this petition with liberty to
             continue the cross-examine the prosecution witness in accordance with law.
                      Needless to state that the objection recorded in the deposition of PW
             2 on behalf of the accused may be raised by Mr. P. Tomcha at the time of
             addressing arguments subsequent upon the conclusion of the recording of
             evidence.                                                            
                      Leave and liberty granted.                                  
                      With the above direction, the petition is disposed of.
