                   [1]        Heard Mr. BR.  Sharma, learned counsel for the      
                   petitioners.                                                   
                   [2]       The  petitioners, who are Nursing Sisters in JNIMS,  
                   approached this Court that they have submitted representations all
                   dated 12.01.2024 to the (i) Director, JNIMS, (ii) Deputy Director
                   (Admn.), JNIMS, (iii) Medical Superintendent, JNIMS and (iv) Nursing
                   Superintendent, JNIMS, Porompat, Imphal requesting to exclude them
                   from the proposal of utilizing Nursing Sisters as to perform duties of
                   Nursing Staff on the ground that they have already been promoted.
                   [3]       It is submitted that the representations are still pending
                   with the authorities. It is also submitted that the writ petiton may be
                   disposed of by issuing an innocuous order by directing the respondent
                   No. 2 (Director, JNIMS) to dispose of the representations within a
                   stipulated period of time.

                   [4]       Mr. Th. Sukumar, learned G.A. for the State respondent,
                   is agreeable to the submission made by the learned counsel for the
                   petitioners provided this Court does not decide on the merit of the case.
                   [5]       Recording the submissions made at the bar, the writ  
                   petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No. 2 (i.e. Director
                   JNIMS) to dispose of the representations submitted by the petitioners
                   within a period of 2 (two) months from the date of receipt of a copy of
                   this order.                                                    
                   [6]       With this observation, writ petition is disposed of. 
                   [7]       It is made clear that this Court does not express any
                   opinion on the merit of the case.                              
                   [8]       Furnish a copy of this order to the learned counsel  
                   appearing for all the parties.
