                                  Heard Mr.M.Randy, learned counsel for the       
                        petitioners and Mr.Th.Sukumar, learned Government         
                        Advocate for the State respondents.                       
                                  The petitioners, who are nine in numbers,       
                        approached this Court, inter alia, praying for regularizing
                        their contract/casual services on the ground that they have
                        been working for more than ten years. In this regard,     
                        petitioners have submitted joint representation dated     
                        16.11.2023 to the Additional Chief Secretary, Forest &    
                        Environment, Government of Manipur and the Principal Chief
                        Conservator, Forest for regularising their casual services as
                        done in the case of other similarly situated persons.     
                        Mr.M.Randy, learned counsel for the petitioners draws     
                        attention of this Court to an order dated 4.3.2019 passed by
                        this Court in WP(C) No.188 of 2019 whereby respondents    
                        were directed to consider for regularising all casual workers
                        who have been working for more than 24 years. It is       
                        submitted that the service of the petitioners in WP(C) No.188
                        of 2019 have already been regularised by the respondents. 

                                  Learned counsel for the petitioners draws       
                        attention of this Court to the additional affidavit (Annexure
                        A/27) filed by the petitioners, wherein the Principal Chief
                        Conservator of Forests, Government of Manipur wrote a letter
                        dated 6.12.2023 to the Deputy Secretary, Forest and       
                        Environment & C.C) requesting regularisation of services of
                        ten people including the nine petitioners herein.         
                                  It is submitted that the representation may be  
                        disposed of by directing the respondents to consider the case
                        of the petitioners for regularising their services in terms of
                        the letter dated 6.12.2023.                               
                                  Mr.Sukumar, learned Government Advocate         
                        has no objection in passing an innocuous direction for    
                        consideration for regularization.                         
                                  Recording the submissions made at the Bar, the  
                        writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the    
                        respondents to dispose of the pending representation dated
                        16.11.2023 submitted by the petitioners in terms of the letter
                        dated 6.12.2023 by a speaking order, within a period of three
                        months, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 
                                  It is clarified that this Court does not express
                        any opinion on the merit of the case.                     
                                  Writ petition is disposed of in terms of the    
                        above. Furnish a copy of this order to learned counsel for the
                        parties.
