                    Dr. RK Deepak, learned senior counsel, appears on behalf of the
             applicant.                                                           
                    The present application has been instituted on behalf of Kshetrimayum
             Tombi Singh, Executive Engineer, Water Supply Project Construction Division,
             Public Health Engineering Department, Government of Manipur, Porompat, P.O. &
             P.S.- Porompat, Imphal East District, Manipur, i.e. the respondent No. 4 in the
             connected contempt petition praying as follows :-                    
                      “In the premises aforesaid, it is most respectfully prayed that
                       your Lordships be pleased to allow the present Misc. Case and
                       dispense with the personal appearance of the Applicant as per
                                                        the above referred        
                      direction given by the Hon’ble High Court in                
                       Contempt Case. Your Lordships may also be pleased to allow the
                       corresponding change of the name of Respondent No. 4 as    
                      “Kshetrimayum Tombi Singh” in the cause title. And/or pass any
                                                                   the            
                      appropriate order which the Hon’ble Court deems fit in      
                      interest of justice.”

                     Mr. S. Samarjeet, learned counsel, accepts notice on behalf of the
             respondents No. 1, 2 and 3 and Mr. Rendy, learned counsel, accepts notice on
             behalf of respondent No. 4.                                          
                    In view of the circumstances that respondent No. 4 is neither the Chief
             Engineer nor the Executive Engineer authorized by the Chief Engineer of the PHED;
             the exemption prayed for personal appearance by him is allowed.      
                    Application is disposed of accordingly.
