                   [1]       Heard Mr. I. Denning, learned counsel for the petitioner.
                   [2]       The  petitioner approached this Court by way of the  
                   present writ petition for setting aside the order dated 21.10.2022
                   appointing the private respondent under the die-in-harness Scheme
                   and also for considering the representation dated 20.02.2024   
                   regularizing his case for appointment under the die-in-harness Scheme
                   in the Agriculture Department.                                 
                   [3]       It is submitted that private respondent No. 4 is much
                   junior in the seniority list of the die-in-harness applicants maintained by
                   the department. It is also submitted that no reason has been given for
                   not considering the case of the petitioner.                    
                   [4]       However, at this juncture, Mr. I. Denning, learned counsel
                   for the petitioner, submits that the writ petition may be disposed of by

                   issuing a direction to respondent No. 1 to dispose of the representation
                   dated 20.02.2024 by a speaking order within a stipulated period of
                   time.                                                          
                   [5]       Mr. Th. Sukumar, learned G.A. for the State respondent,
                   submits that the writ petition may be disposed of in terms of the
                   submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner provided this
                   Court does not express any opinion on the merit of the case.   
                   [6]       In the circumstances, writ petition is disposed of with a
                   direction to the respondents to dispose of the representation dated
                   20.02.2024 submitted by the petitioner within a period of 2 (two)
                   months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.       
                   [7]       It is made clear that this Court does not express any
                   opinion on the merit of the case.                              
                   [8]       Furnish a copy of this order to the learned counsel  
                   appearing for all the parties.
