                             Heard Ms.G.Puspa, learned counsel for the petitioner 
                   and Ms.Ch.Sundari, learned Government Advocate for the         
                   respondents.                                                   
                             The petitioner who was working as a Headmaster of    
                   Government of School, retired from service on 31.12.2022 and his
                   GPF could not be released in terms of the impugned letter dated
                   8.4.2024 written by the Chief Finance Officer, Directorate of  
                   Education (S), Manipur to the Zonal Education Officer, Zone-II,
                   Imphal East, Government of Manipur, his GPF (N/R) system cannot
                   be entertain his request, due to some technical problem.       
                             The learned Government Advocate draws attention of   
                   this Court to the contents of the counter affidavit stating that the
                   State have initiated for payment of GPF amount to the petitioner but
                   due to technical problem in the system, the same cannot be done
                   and after due rectification of the technical defect in the system,
                   entitled GPF amount will be released as per Rule.              
                             Ms.Sundari, learned Government Advocate submits      
                   that the writ petition may be closed with the direction that technical
                   issue may be rectified and process for payment of entitled GPF 
                   amount to the petitioner. Ms.G.Puspa, learned counsel for the  
                   petitioner is also agreeable to the submission made by the learned
                   Government Advocate.                                           

                             Recording the submissions made at the Bar the writ   
                   petition is disposed of with the direction to the State respondents to
                   rectify the technical defect in the system and make payment of 
                   entitled GPF amounts to the petitioner as per Rule, within three
                   months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.         
                             Furnish a copy of this order to the learned counsel for
                   the parties for doing the needful.                             
                             With the above observation and direction, the writ   
                   petition is disposed of.
