As could be seen from the daily order sheet, the petition
was listed on 29.07.2024, on that day, though matter called
twice, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner
either personally or through video conferencing. Hence, the
office was directed to list this matter under the caption ‘for
dismissal’ on 31.07.2024.
The petition is listed today under the caption ‘for
dismissal’. As could be seen from the petition papers, the Writ
Petition is filed in the year 2014. Now we are in the month of
July 2024. The petition is pending for ten years.
As already noted above, when the matter is called, today
also there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner either
personally or through video conferencing. It appears that the
petitioner is not interested in prosecuting the petition. Hence,
the Writ Petition is dismissed for non-prosecution.
