Heard the parties
The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Daltonganj
(Town) P.S. Case No. 62/2024, for the offences registered under Sections
302/120B of the I.P.C. and Section 27 of the Arms Act, 1959, pending in the
Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Palamau at Daltonganj.
On 07.02.2024, at about 02:30 p.m., accused Ritesh Chandravanshi @
Mama shot the mother of the informant, due to which, she succumbed to her
injuries. It is alleged that the petitioner was present at the place of
occurrence.
It was submitted that there is no allegation of firing against the
petitioner. It was further submitted that other co-accused persons have been
granted bail by this Court as well as by the Co-ordinate Bench of this Court.
Considering the fact that there is no allegation against the petitioner, I
am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner,
named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of
Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount
each, to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Palamau at
Daltonganj in connection with Daltonganj (Town) P.S. Case No. 62/2024.
