04/20.12.2024 Heard the Parties.
All these bail applications arise out of same police
case. Accordingly, they are being disposed of by a common order.
Petitioners have been made an accused in connection
with Dhanbad P.S. Case No. 373/2024, registered for the offences
under Sections 190, 19, 115, 126, 109, 140(1), 308, 352, 353 of
BNS, 2023, pending in the court of learned C.J.M., Dhanbad.
On 12.08.2024 at about 06:00 A.M., brother of the
informant was abducted for ransom by the accused persons.
Ransom was demanded from the family members. It appears that
the mother of the informant could arrange Rs. 50,000/- and she paid
the ransom. It further appears that the victims somehow escaped
from the clutches of accused persons.
During the course of investigation, the petitioners were
apprehended and were put on T.I. Parade and they were identified
by the victim as his abductors.
Regard being had to the facts and circumstance of the
case and considering the nature of allegation; I am not inclined to
enlarge the petitioners on bail. Accordingly, their prayer for bail is
hereby rejected.
The petitioners, if so advised may renew their prayer
for bail after nine months.
