Heard the parties.
The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Chaibasa
Muffasil P.S. Case No.07 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections
379/34 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of learned A.C.J.M., West
Singhbhum at Chaibasa.
On 11.01.2024, the scooty of the informant parked outside the flour mill of
Poddar was stolen by three named accused persons.
It was submitted that petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. However, the
stolen scooty was recovered from his possession as he had purchased the scooty
from the accused persons. It was further submitted that petitioner is a bonafide
purchaser and he is in custody for about four months.
Considering the aforesaid fact, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on
bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail
on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/-(Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two
sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M., West
Singhbhum at Chaibasa, in connection with Chaibasa Muffasil P.S. Case No.07 of
2024.
