          1.      The petitioner in the present petition has sought quashing of complaint
                  dated 19.01.2021 filed by respondent No. 3 and consequent verification/PV
                  No. 9/2021 initiated by the official respondents against the petitioner on the
                  basis of the complaint filed by the complainant respondent No. 3 herein.
          2.      Inquiry Officer Deepak Bharti, Crime Branch Jammu is present in person.
                  He submits that the preliminary verification has resulted into registration of
                  FIR bearing No. 0108 dated 20.10.2023. He further submits that during
                  enquiry, the petitioner was not summoned.                         
          3.      In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of as having been
                  rendered infructuous. The petitioner shall be at liberty to avail the remedy
                  as available under law so far as the registration of the FIR is concerned.
          4.      Consequently, the accompanied contempt proceedings are also closed.
