Record of the proceedings would reveal that the pleadings in the
instant case have been completed on 17.10.2023, whereafter, on four dates
of hearing, the counsel for the petitioner has either chosen not to appear or
got the matter adjourned through proxy counsel/s appearing for him. Today
as well, an adjournment is sought by the proxy counsel on behalf of the
petitioner, suggesting that the petitioner or his counsel has no interest in
prosecuting the case. Thus, the present petition is dismissed for non-
prosecution. Interim direction, if any, shall stand vacated.
