01. The instant contempt petition has been preferred for implementation of the
order/judgment dated 14.09.2018 by virtue of which, the writ petition was
disposed of with a direction to respondent No. 3 to make payment of the admitted
amount, which was due and payable to the petitioner, within a period of six weeks
from the date of receipt of a certified copy of the order passed on 14.09.2018.

Since the order was not complied within the aforesaid period and feeling
aggrieved of the same, the contempt petition has been preferred in which notice
was issued on 05.03.2019 and respondents have filed various compliance reports
and the latest compliance report filed on 30.04.2024 in which respondents have
submitted in para 3 of the compliance report that the total work done amount of

Rs.3,67,000/- and CC 1 already paid to the contractor/petitioner to the tune of Rs.
25,000/- now balance amount to the tune of Rs. 3,42,000/- which was due to the
contractor/petitioner, has been released and the bill duly passed, has been

submitted in the Additional Treasury Gandhi Nagar Jammu for further crediting
the amount into the account number 1209040100001535 J&K Bank Arnia Jammu
of the petitioner.

As per the stand taken by the respondents in the compliance report, nothing
remains outstanding with the respondents and the respondents have implemented
in toto.

04. In the light of the stand taken by the respondents in the compliance report
dated 30.04.2024 with particular reference to para 3 of the compliance report, the
grievance stands redressed and whatever amount was due has already been paid
and released in favour of the petitioner and nothing remains outstanding as on
date.
05. Since the order/judgment dated 14.09.2018 stands complied with, no
fruitful purpose will be served to keep this contempt petition alive. Accordingly,
proceedings in the instant contempt petition are closed. Rule if any shall stand
discharged.
