1. In the instant petition, petitioner herein is aggrieved of the conduct of
the respondents in not extending the license bearing No.
01/DMP/JC/HSD dated 02.08.2022 issued to the petitioner for the
storage of petroleum Class-A and petroleum Class-B/C subject to
provisions of the Petroleum Act, 1934 which license was issued to
st
the petitioner on 02.08.2022 and valid up to 31 December, 2024.
2. It is stated that the license issued in favour of the petitioner is going
to expire on 31.12.2024 i.e., today. Learned counsel for the petitioner
submits that petitioner has already filed representation dated
29.11.2024 before respondent No. 2 but till date no decision has been
taken on it.
3. He further states that petitioner would feel satisfied if the instant
petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No. 2 to
consider the representation filed by the petitioner within a reasonable
period of time.
4. Mr. Satinder Singh Kala, learned AAG appearing for the respondents
is not averse to the proposition made by learned counsel for the
petitioner.
5. Be that as it may, instant petition is disposed of with a direction to the
respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated
29.11.2024 in accordance with rules within a period of two weeks’
from the date of passing of this order.
