2. The grievance of the petitioners is that as no
Departmental Promotion Committee is being convened to fill up the
vacant posts of Senior Lecturer as well as Head of the Department,
for which the petitioners are now eligible despite the fact that in
terms of Annexures P-3 and P-19A, recommendation to this effect
stood made by the Competent Authority, the Government Polytechnic
Rohru and Principal, Govt. Polytechnic, Kangra, H.P. have already
sent communications in this regard to respondent No.2.
3. In the light of the grievance raised by the petitioners,
this petition, as prayed for, is disposed of with the direction that let
appropriate call be taken on the communication dated 22.08.2024
