1. Heard learned counsel for the respective parties and perused
the record with utmost circumspection.
2. This contempt petition has been filed under Article 215 of the
Constitution of India read with Section 12 of the Contempt of Court
Act, 1971.
Vide order dated 24.09.2024, this Court has passed the following
order/direction:-
“8.For the foregoing discussions, writ petitions are
allowed. Respondents are directed to unseal the
shop and hand over possession of respective shops
to petitioners,expeditiously preferably within a
period of one week from the date of receipt of this
order. However, respondent no. 1 or the state will be
at liberty to take recourse to law for getting evicted
petitioners from rented shops as available under law.
”
3. When the case is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel
for the respective parties submits that the order/direction of
this Court vide order dated 24.09.2024 passed in WPC NO.
1729 of 2024 along with WPC No. 1730 of 2024 and WPC No.
1854 of 2024 has duly been complied with. Learned counsel
for the respondents in support of his contention, thereof has
placed on record relevant document/letter dated 28.11.2024.
4. In view of the above, the present contempt petitions i.e.
Cont. No. 1246 of 2024 and Cont. No. 1247 of 2024 are
closed and are accordingly disposed of.
5. No order as to cost(s).
