the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may
be pleased to issue a Writ, Order or Direction more
particularly one in the
nature of Writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of the respondents2 and
3 in not issuing the appointment orders to the petitioners
for the post of
constable/GD in CPOs and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles,
2012 as illegal,
arbitrary, discriminatory and violation of statutory
rules issued under Article
309 of the Constitution of India and also violation
of Article 14, 16 and 21 of
the Constitution of India and consequently direct the
respondents to issue
the appointment letters to the petitioners immediately
with all consequential
benefits
