                                   The petitioner is aggrieved because the Sonarpur

                                   Customer Care  Centre had  not taken any         
                                   initiative to grant new connection, although the 
                                   petitioner claims to have paid all the money.    
                                   Mr. Sumit Roy, learned advocate for the West     
                                2.                                                  
                                   Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company    
                                   Limited, submits that nine poles have to be      
                                   erected in order to grant connection to the      
                                   petitioner. Objections were raised by the local  
                                   people. Mr. Roy is not in position to apprise this
                                   court as to the identity of such persons.        
                                   Under such circumstances, the writ petition is   
                                3.                                                  
                                   disposed of with a direction upon the Garia      
                                   Divisional Engineer to cause an inspection along 
                                   with the Station Manager of Sonarpur Customer    
                                   Care  Centre,  petitioner, Officer-in-Charge,    
                                   Narendrapur Police Station, municipality and/or  
                                   the panchayat authority as the case may be, for  
                                   identification of the positions where such poles 
                                   will be erected and take steps to grant connection

                                   to the petitioner, without causing any hindrance 
                                   to the ingress and egress of other persons of the
                                   locality. The inspection team shall explore the  
                                   possibility of granting connection in the same   
                                   manner in which the other local people have been 
                                   given connection. The entire exercise shall be   
                                   completed within a period of three months from   
                                   receipt of no objection from the  wetland        
                                   authorities.                                     
                                   As it is submitted that the concerned area is in a
                                4.                                                  
                                   wetland, necessary permission from the wetland   
                                   authorities shall also be supplied by the        
                                   petitioner before the authority undertakes such  
                                   inspection.                                      
                                5. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of.   
                                6. All the parties are directed to act on the basis of
                                   the server copy of the order.
