Ms. Sankari Roy … For the petitioner.
1. This revisional application has been filed invoking
the jurisdiction under Article 227 of the
Constitution of India with a prayer for expeditious
disposal of the Title Suit No. 219 of 2008 pending
before the learned Civil Judge (Senior Division), 1st
Court, Barasat, Noth 24 Parganas.
2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the
petitioner has submitted that the suit is pending
since 2008 but learned Judge could not start
recording evidence yet.
3. Perused the record.
4. Nature of the prayer does not demand, in my
opinion, service of notice upon the opposite parties.
Accordingly, the service upon the opposite parties is
dispensed with.
5. Given facts and circumstances, learned Trial Court
is requested to dispose of the Title Suit being No.
2019 of 2008 as expeditiously as possible without
giving any unnecessary adjournment to any of the
parties save and except in extreme urgency.

6. Petitioner is at liberty to communicate this order to
the learned Trial Court as well as to the learned
counsel appearing on behalf of the opposite parties.
7. With this observation and direction, the revisional
application stands disposed of.
8. All the parties shall act on the server copy of this
order duly downloaded from the official web site of
this Court.
9. Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if
applied for, be given to the parties on usual
undertakings.
