                                     Let the affidavit of service filed by the petitioner
                                in Court today be kept with the records.            
                                     The petitioner in this writ petition was appointed
                                as a Sishu Shikhsa Sahayika at Bachamari Halder     
                                Para  Shishu Shiksha  Kendra under  old Malda       
                                Municipality on August 1, 2008, on contractual basis.
                                On April 30, 2014, her service was discontinued by the
                                Director of Local Bodies on the ground that she was 
                                under-aged.                                         
                                     It is submitted that the petitioner is presently
                                aged about 42 years and in similar circumstances,   
                                different Co-ordinate Benches of this Court directed
                                the relevant authority to consider their case of re-
                                engagement as Sishu Shiksha Sahayikas.              
                                     The  Director of Local Bodies is, therefore,   
                                directed to consider the re-engagement of  the      
                                petitioner in accordance with law and in the light of

                                the observations recorded hereinabove and also in   
                                terms of the guidelines dated May 30, 2000, especially
                                Clause 7(ka), within one month from the date of     
                                communication of this order and communicate his     
                                decision to the petitioner forthwith. This court has not
                                entered into the merits of the claim of the petitioner.
                                     Accordingly, WPA 18997 of 2024 is disposed of. 
                                     Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if
                                applied for, be supplied to the learned advocates for
                                the parties on usual undertakings.
