Mr. A.P.Kalmegh, Advocate for the petitioner.

                          CORAM : ABHAY J. MANTRI , JJ.
                          D ATE : DECEMBER 31, 2024
Heard, Mr. Kalmegh, learned Counsel for the
petitioner and learned AGP for respondent No.1 and perused the
                    record.
                    2) It seems that by order dated 29/08/2024, this
Court has directed the Committee to decide the matter within a
period of four months from the date of appearance of the
petitioner, i.e. w.e.f. 18/09/2024. The said period will expire on
17/01/2025. Learned APP has not disputed the said fact.
                    3) Having considered the same, the deadline to
submit the caste validity certificate before respondent No.2 is
                    extended until 17/01/2025.
                    4) The respondent Committee is also directed to
consider the petitioner's claim on a priority basis and give
preference to deciding it probably on or before 15/01/2025 so
that the petitioner can submit the document, if any, before
                    respondent No.2 by 17/01/2025.
                                                   ( ABHAY J. MANTRI, J. )
